Getting Started
Safezone
Figari Safezone is a protected area. Inside the safezone there is no combat, no stealing, and access to traders. Protection only applies inside the marked zone.
Wallet System
To trade, you must have a wallet. Cash must be inside the wallet. Money sitting loose in your inventory will not work. No wallet means no trade.
Finding Food
Food can be found in houses, kitchens, fridges, presses, cupboards, gardens, vegetable plots, and fruit trees.
Military Locations
Custom military sites are spread around the map. They can contain weapons, military gear, and locked loot crates. Expect zombies and players.
Key Crates
Locked crates require special keys. Green keys are low tier, yellow keys are mid tier, purple keys are high tier, and red keys are top tier rare loot.
Events & Rare Loot
Helicopter crash sites contain rare weapons and valuable gear. Gas zones require hazmat gear and a gas mask. Growhouses contain valuable crops. Stash houses and grow rooms are hidden around the map, with island locations containing more loot than mainland locations.
Mining & Crafting
Mine copper, silver, and gold ore. Smelt ore into ingots to sell or craft components like gunpowder, metal fragments, and weapon parts. Use components at the weapon craftbench to craft rare weapons.
Secure Your Loot
Set codes on vehicles, doors, and storage. Claim vehicles with keys and always keep your vehicle locked.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I run Foggys Survival on my own personal server?
Yes. Anyone can run the Foggys Survival mod on their own server or create their own versions for free.
How does TFD Banking work?
TFD is an admin-managed bank. Staff can transfer your in-game cash to Discord credit and back again to help carry currency through wipes. It is not meant to replace the in-game ATM.
Why don't I get cash when selling to traders?
Make sure you have a wallet in your inventory. No wallet means you will not receive cash from trade transactions.
How do I use vehicle documents?
Drop the document on the ground and look at it to see the Deploy option. Boats can be salvaged back into documents.
Black Market
The Black Market is where players buy and sell illegal goods, rare items, and valuable contraband for serious profit.
- There is one Black Market location marked on the map.
- The area has multiple Black Market traders.
- These traders buy and sell rare items and contraband.
- High value trades can attract other players, so expect risk.
Valuables can be found at helicopter crash sites, bandit camps, and the quarry.
Economy
- Every player spawns with a wallet.
- You must have the wallet on you to trade with NPC traders.
- No wallet means no trading.
- Selling items gives virtual cash, not direct physical money.
- Money can also be stored in ATMs.
Most traders are in Figari safezone and the Black Market. Players can buy and sell weapons, gear, building supplies, and valuable loot.
Base Building
Building a base lets you store loot and protect your gear.
- Common building items include a base flag, build plans, nails, storage boxes, logs, and wooden planks.
- Saw logs into planks at saw tables.
- Unbox nails before using them.
- Set a code on your flag.
- Refresh your flag every 4 to 5 days or the base can despawn.
- Store loot in containers with a codelock.
Bases can be raided on PvP servers, so strong layouts and smart locations matter.
